RoadGuide is a “must attend” workshop for parents of teenagers. It is designed to complement the RYDA program for students, but can equally be a standalone.
RoadGuide focuses on the role parents can play in keeping their young driver (and their passengers) safe. Adolescence is a time when a young person is most at risk of injury or death. This workshop covers research about the major risk factors and provides parents with skills and strategies to support their children to develop their independence as new drivers and to make better choices when driving or as passengers with other young people. It will provide you with links to further resources and an action plan to work with your young person.
