Bus drop off area is located outside Netball Central, on Olympic Boulevard, near Shirley Strickland Avenue. Walk down the hill and use the walk bridge to enter the Tennis Centre area. RYDA will be located on level 1 of the building.
Road closure: Part of Shirley Strickland Avenue from the round about to Rod Laver Drive will be closed for our speed and stopping demonstration.
This road safety excursion was by far one of the best excursions I have ever been to. I have learned so much and found today so interesting that I couldn’t wait to tell my family all that I learned. My favorite part was the crash Investigators presented by Ben telling us his story on how he ended up in a wheelchair due to a car crash. That evening when I got home I shared [what I learned] with my family in order to create road safety awareness and share this information with family and friends.
